Classes & workshops

Build a practice for the way you work and care.

YogaSOL’s in-person classes and workshops use movement, breathwork, meditation, and reflection to develop self-awareness, steadier attention, and connection. With Summer’s guidance, participants explore how to recognize stress and build familiar cues they can draw on during a shift, in the OR, in a meeting, or after a demanding day.

Different practices, useful skills

Find the practice that helps you build awareness.

Accessible yoga

Explore movement at a pace that fits the group while noticing breath, physical tension, and the way you hold yourself. Develop body-awareness cues you can return to during a long shift, time at a desk, or a transition between tasks.

Gentle and restorative yoga

Slow down and explore supported movement, stillness, and conscious breathing. Learn to notice the physical load you carry and what rest feels like, building awareness you can use to recognize your need for recovery between demanding days.

Yoga nidra

A guided rest practice that invites attention to the body, breath, and experience of settling. Develop familiarity with a fuller recovery practice for appropriate rest time between demanding shifts or workdays.

Guided meditation with journaling prompts

Practice returning your attention and noticing thoughts, emotions, and bodily cues. Reflection helps you explore patterns in your stress response and how you listen, communicate, and respond when an interaction becomes demanding.

YogaSOL offers shared, in-person practice—not one-to-one coaching or an online program. The format is shaped around your group and the skills you want to explore, with space to recognize what feels useful and develop familiarity through practice.

More than a routine. A way to build familiarity.

Summer brings her clinical experience as a CRNA and her 500-hour yoga training into a live practice shaped around your group. Her guidance connects breath, movement, rest, and mindful awareness with the demands of working and caring for others.

A class gives you time to notice which practices feel accessible and how you respond to them. Repetition builds familiarity with your own cues, so the idea of self-awareness becomes something you have experienced—not simply advice to “relax” when work gets difficult.

What goes back with you

Practice here. Draw on it when work gets demanding.

The space to practice is also the space to learn what feels useful. With Summer’s guidance, participants develop self-awareness and explore familiar cues they can return to during a shift, a meeting, or a difficult conversation.

  1. Recognize your state

Notice physical tension, held breath, or scattered attention before a handoff, meeting, or difficult exchange. Learning to recognize these signals gives you a starting point for choosing how to respond.

  2. Have a familiar cue

Explore a brief breath or body-awareness cue you can recall when a full practice or pause is not possible. In the OR or another clinical setting, the cue must fit the moment without interrupting attention to the work or patient.

  3. Respond with intention

Practice returning to your attention, listening, and choosing your next words. Bring that awareness to communication with colleagues, patients, or the people on your team when pressure rises.

Fuller movement and guided rest need appropriate time and space. During patient-care duties or other moments that need your full attention, draw on a brief, familiar cue—not a full yoga session or yoga nidra.

For Organizers

Build a workshop around your people.

For your care team, workplace, or professional community, start with what you want people to leave with: stress awareness, familiar regulation cues, or more intentional connection. Summer will help shape a class or workshop around those goals and the needs of your group.
